For consistent readings between the two base units, both stations receive outdoor weather transmissions from the same TX29UDTH-IT wireless remote sensor. The two bases also benefit from atomic clocks, resetting daily via radio transmission with the US Atomic Clock in Colorado.The temperature and forecast stations both display on their LCD screens the indoor temperature as measured in their respective locations, along with the date, the time, and, as relayed by the remote sensor, the outdoor temperature, ranging from -39.9 to 139.8 degrees F.
